Rainy day

We're supposed to watch a movie but it has been postponed for like, 3 days now due to rain. It's definitely not stopping. I just hope it's gone by next week when I start, you know, "working". I don't have an NBI clearance yet. The company wants to see one by Monday. I know I should've got one way before but I was too lazy to do it. Ate Chona and I went to QC Hall today. By the time we got there, the line was so long, that was because there was a blackout so the city hall people couldn't give away forms yet. So we went home without the clearance. They couldn't tell when they'll be able to fix the electricity problem, anyway. Goddamn service. Don't they have a generator for times like that? I mean, really, dammit. And also, the place was nothing like urban. I expected a nice office, I was disappointed as usual. It's UUUhGGly.

The Philippines should not send athletes to international events, especially basketball. RP will not, in any way, win in international basketball leagues. Filipinos are suckers for basketball. Don't force it. We're simply not built for the game. I caught a replay of the JOnes williams cup (or is it the william Jones cup? whatever). It was RP vs. Kazakhstan for 5th place. The Kazakhs were much younger than our players but they were able to rip the Philippines' "best" with their impeccable shooting. Shameful. Those who played there were professional players here and they couldn't even win 5th place!
