OK, I take it back

I know I said it's going to be San Sebastian College vs De La Salle University in the Shakey's V-league finals. Well guess what. SSC just lost to Adamson University today, further cementing the latter's number two position. Before their match, DLSU bowed to Lyceum of the Philippines in a five-setter match. Stunned? I already told you it could be done. DLSU's now 11-2. Which I think doesn't hurt them at all. I mean, they're going to the finals no matter what happens at this point of the tournament. They can afford to lose.

San Sebastian's loss to Adamson today was unexpected as far as I'm concerned. Even if they have superb spikers (Bualee, Latigay, and Mondejar) and an excellent setter (Iratay), they committed so many errors. They were not concentrating, hence they lost.

Adamson's okay but an SSC-DLSU match-up in the finals would definitely be more exciting. People want to see Bualee more in the finals than Macatangay (she was excellent today). I don't know what will happen now to San Sebastian's standing. They're currently ranked third but being third doesn't get you to the finals. Maybe they should win all they're remaining matches in the semi-finals.

Anyway, if it's Adamson vs La Salle in the end, you know who I'm going to root for. And they most definitely will not wear green.
