Hello! I decided to post some pics here from our trip to Thailand. Together with my friends Daryl, Ria, and Rio, went to Bangkok and did nothing but to shop, shop, shop till we drop. We haven't had time to go to some bar and see a "live show" (ya know what i mean), though. I remember one of my officemates told me that when they went to one, a man told them that they could see the show for only 50 baht. Once they were ushered in and seated, 500 baht was demanded from them. They didn't try to reason back coz the way the bouncer was looking at them was just not right. After being robbed, I mean paying, they were out of there.
Anyway, good thing that didn't happen to us. In our experience, Thai people were really nice. One drawback though is that they couldn't speak nor write grammatically correct English. But that's okay, at least we were able to understand each other, especially when bargaining. Nyahahah! Food and shopping are cheap so you'll have a blast there. And the airport... man, NAIA looked like it's from a 5th world country. There are airports much worse than NAIA but the one in Bangkok was beyond cool.
