Happy Feet was really cute, but there were some parts that bored me and made me want to fall asleep. I don't think it was because of the fact that it was 11 in the evening and I just had a full dinner. Some parts were just plain boring. On our way out of the cinema I heard one kid said she nearly fell asleep. It was generally good and was by far better than Open Season. I just think they could've made it more fast-paced.
Next movies to catch: Fragile and Borat. I'm not so sure about Borat but I'm definitely watching Fragile. I don't know if it's good, I haven't seen the reviews yet. It's the one with Calista Flockhart and if plans don't change I'll be watching it with Ria and Daryl. Haven't seen Daryl in a while. Like I said, I haven't seen the reviews on Fragile yet. I have this habit of checking what the critics say before seeing a movie. I suggest you do that, too. It'll save you a lot of money. I don't care if I'm gonna be seeing Brad Pitt's godliness for a full two hours. If the reviews say the flick sucks, forget it.
I remember accompanying my friends to watch The Break-up after they insisted on watching it despite my warning. Ofcourse they realized I was right after seeing it. That movie was garbage.
There was this Filipino director once who got ballistic over critics who reviewed his movie and didn't give positive reviews. He said that people should stop publishing reviews because they influence the viewers. He felt that some movies flop because of negative reviews. Can you imagine how retarded he is? It was like asking the viewing public to give him the right to make bad movies and make him waste their money. The name of the retard is Carlo J. Caparas, by the way.
