De La Salle proved to be too strong for the San Sebastian squad as they win 3 sets to one against the Lady Stags. DLSU bagged the V-league championship for the 3rd consecutive time. It was expected. Especially after what SSC showed in Game 1. Man, they played ugly in that one. During game 2, SSC wasn't able to learn from their mistakes and relied heavily on Bualee. She was named the best player of the finals, by the way. But Bualee alone of course wouldn't win them the game. The only person on the side of SSC doing damage to DLSU was her. It wasn't at all a team effort. It was like they've already bowed out of the competition after game 1. Maybe at the back of their minds they were so used to DLSU being the champion that subconsciously they've given up.
I wanted them to win. I wanted them to show the other teams that DLSU is not invincible like that upset in the semi-finals. That there's no reason for them to crumble whenever faced against La Salle. Heck, SSC did the exact opposite. I think most of the teams lost to DLSU because they were used to seeing DLSU as the winner that even before the match, they already think DLSU would win.
There were these fans (rooting for SSC) who were like shouting insults at the DLSU players whenever they serve or make unforced errors. It's nice that you see people cheer for the same team you support but I wasn't entertained by the fact that they acted like assholes. The demeanor was very childish and uncalled for. Maybe they added to the bad luck which came across SSC.
I'm so sick of seeing La Salle win. UST, where the hell are you?

Martina Falls
Martina Hingis is out of Wimbledon after losing to Ai Sukiyama in their second round match (7-5,3-6,6-4). That's okay. She's still one of the best out there.
